From the very first encounter, individuals often confide in me, uttering phrases like, “I’ve never shared that with anyone before!” Over time, I’ve grown accustomed to such moments. It seems that people naturally feel at ease around me, sensing an immediate trust. My non-judgmental nature and the breadth of my experiences have led others to entrust me with their deepest secrets. By sharing their secrets or simply discovering ways to articulate what they’ve been feeling, they leave the conversation feeling lighter and/or more self-aware. It’s as if people subconsciously sense that I’ve walked my own path of triumph over adversity. They know on some level that I’m continually evolving and recognize the intricate nature of life and they connect with me as their confidant. There is absolutely no shame in the complexities we face as humans.
However, trust alone is not enough in the realm of professional coaching. After completing my bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2000, my journey unfolded through three pivotal and transformative roles. While finalizing my studies and during the initial years after graduation, I served as the director of a local non-profit organization. Subsequently, I found myself immersed in the financial and insurance industry as part of a field marketing organization. There, I spearheaded the development, launch, and management of a monthly 92-page trade publication. This editorial position played a fundamental role in shaping my professional acumen and defining my core values. Although an experience I wouldn’t wish to repeat, I am immensely grateful for the wisdom it bestowed upon me. For the past two decades, I have held a leadership position in an independent real estate brokerage, utilizing my education, life experiences, and professional expertise to offer extensive consultation, training, and coaching to our sales team. Additionally, I have fostered a thriving online women’s group, providing a platform for empowerment and growth.
When it came to my formal education in coaching, I deliberately chose the FLOW Coaching Institute, an esteemed institution accredited by the ICF.
