Compassionate and supportive with a down-to-earth attitude, most people find themselves telling me, “I don’t know why I’m telling you this! I just feel like spilling my guts to you,” upon first meeting. I’m used to this now. I simply think people find me very comfortable to be around and they have a strong sense of trust from the beginning. I’m non-judgmental and I promise you I’ve heard just about everything by now.
Personality isn’t everything when it comes to professional coaching. I have over two decades of unofficial coaching experience, but I decided to pursue formal education by an ICF-accredited coaching school in 2022. I am now an ICF-certified coach pursuing ICF credentials. By the time I apply for my ACC through the International Coaching Federation, I will have 125 hours of ICF-accredited education, hundreds of hours of paid and pro bono coaching experience, and 10 hours of mentor coaching. Continuing education requirements are 40 hours every three years. Standardized, formal education is very important to me if I’m going to call myself a professional coach. This training helps me support my clients in the best possible way.
My formal training and professional experience has prepared me to support clients both personally and professionally. I chose FLOW Coaching Institute specifically because their philosophy of coaching the whole person resonated so deeply with me. While we might sometimes outwardly behave differently between personal and professional settings, we are still the same person everywhere we go and in every interaction. So whether it’s developing the strategy to grow your business or building up your self-confidence (or both and everything in between) that has you immobilized, I have the strategy and techniques to help you get to where you want to be.
